These Terms govern access to and use of thePaintGuy Network, LLC. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using thePaintGuy Network, LLC, including its News Desk, training materials, search tools, audio features, and related pages (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and registration records
The Site is intended for adults and automotive collision-repair professionals. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Registration information must be accurate and current. Authentication is managed through Supabase, while member profile information, registration dates, sign-in activity, and notification preferences may also be stored in Airtable for membership administration. Passwords are not stored in Airtable.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Site for lawful personal, professional, and educational purposes. You may not interfere with Site operation; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malicious code; scrape, harvest, or systematically copy Site content; impersonate another person; or use the Site to violate any law or third-party right.
4. Educational information—not professional advice
Site content is provided for general education and industry awareness. It is not a substitute for current OEM repair procedures, product technical data sheets, safety data sheets, workplace-safety requirements, environmental rules, insurer requirements, legal advice, or advice from a qualified professional. Always verify procedures and requirements before acting.
5. News summaries and third-party content
The News Desk provides original summaries and commentary about information published by independent third parties. Headlines, trademarks, reporting, videos, podcasts, and full articles remain the property of their respective owners. Links are provided for attribution and reader convenience. A link or summary does not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or verification by thePaintGuy Network, LLC.
6. Intellectual property
The Site’s original design, branding, organization, summaries, commentary, training materials, and other original content are owned by or licensed to thePaintGuy Network, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or create derivative works from that material without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.
7. User submissions
If the Site permits you to submit comments, messages, files, or other material, you retain ownership of your material and grant thePaintGuy Network, LLC a nonexclusive license to host, process, display, and use it as needed to operate and improve the Site. You must have the rights necessary to submit that material.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue Site content or functionality at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every source will remain available, or that summaries, links, dates, search results, or audio features will always be complete or error-free.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, security, or availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, thePaintGuy Network, LLC and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, repair outcomes, regulatory consequences, or reliance on Site content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless thePaintGuy Network, LLC and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.
12. Suspension or termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account has violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, or interfered with the Site or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site changes. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Severability and entire agreement
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms constitute the agreement between you and thePaintGuy Network, LLC concerning use of the Site, except where additional written terms expressly apply.
